Privacy & beta terms
Updated September 10, 2026. This notice covers the STRYKE beta application.
What you send us
Your email, player name, Discord username, claimed SteamID64, US state, time zone, competitive history, availability, ban disclosures and optional reference. We also store a submission reference, time, review status and consent version. Your chosen password is sent securely to Supabase Authentication to create your client account. It is not stored in the application record or shown to staff. Do not add passwords, payment details or identity documents to free-text fields.
Why we collect it
STRYKE staff uses these details to review eligibility, prevent duplicate or abusive applications, and contact selected players. Your Steam ID is an unverified claim until staff checks ownership. Submitting creates a pending Windows client account. Email confirmation is required before sign-in. A saved application does not mean the player has completed confirmation. Staff checks contact details and Steam ownership before admission.
Storage and access
New accounts and applications are stored in Supabase; earlier website applications remain in our hosting database and available to authorized staff. They are not displayed publicly. We use a time-limited hash derived from the connection address to limit abusive submissions; this form does not store the raw address. Our hosting provider may maintain operational security logs. No advertising tracker is installed on this page. Client accounts and their status can be accessed with your chosen email and password.
Moderation and account notices
A removal notice is shown after sign-in with the reason, whether the decision is permanent, the reapplication date when offered, and whether an appeal is available. Removal blocks play; it does not automatically delete account records, cancel an external subscription or forfeit money. You can submit available appeals, billing questions and deletion requests from My account. A request does not restore access automatically. Staff-only notes are not shown to other players. Operational event references may be sent to a private Discord staff channel once logging is connected; passwords, payment-card details and player messages are not included in that feed.
Match screenshots and Discord linking
Authorized staff may upload a final scoreboard screenshot and verify scores and statistics against the locked match roster. Screenshots remain private to staff; each player can see their own recorded performance. Automated text extraction runs locally in the staff client and is reviewed before publication. When Discord linking is enabled, a one-time code binds your Discord user ID to your STRYKE account for private command responses. You can unlink it from Account. This does not grant staff privileges or read your Discord messages.
Account verification and historical records
Staff reviews your competitive experience, community fit and Steam ownership. Applying does not verify your real-world identity or email ownership. This release does not collect identity documents. Historical test records and operational audit events are retained privately for integrity and support; tests do not establish real identity or payment. Requests to remove personal data are reviewed against applicable record-retention obligations.
Optional event email and text preferences
Your account email is required for sign-in. Event announcements are a separate optional choice. You may also save a US mobile number and separately request future automated event texts. Declining alerts does not affect applying, playing or buying membership. Delivery is not connected yet, and a saved phone number is not verified. We will require phone confirmation before event texts start.
Contact choices are stored privately in Supabase and visible only to the account holder and authorized STRYKE staff. We record the wording, destination and date of each consent or withdrawal. These details are not included in public rosters or community chat. To withdraw, sign in at /membership or open Access in your client, clear the relevant checkbox and save. You can also remove your saved phone number there. Historical consent records remain for accountability while the account is retained; contact us about deletion.
Your choices
To request access, correction or deletion, contact lance.rego02@gmail.com with your application reference. Staff may need to verify the request. We retain application details while reviewing and operating beta access; you may request deletion when you no longer wish to participate.
The beta
Applicants must be 18 or older and based in the United States. Admission is discretionary and requires staff review. Accurate information, respectful communication and fair play are required. Cheating, harassment and account sharing can result in removal. Report disputes to staff with relevant evidence.
Applying is free. Membership costs $11.99 USD per month when live checkout is available, with some free-play sessions and staff-issued personal passes. Current subscription checkout availability and the legal seller are shown on Membership. Hosted checkout, when enabled, is processed by Stripe, and verified payment events update the paid service period when billing automation is connected. Staff handles exceptions and billing support. We record checkout references, agreement to the current membership terms, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, invoice periods, refunds and dispute status. We do not store full card details. There is no promise of income, uninterrupted service, admission or a review deadline. Subscription terms and cancellation instructions are available at /membership/terms. Optional advertising, sponsor and partner-work programs are in development. Before any launch we will disclose the provider, data shared, consent choices and payment terms. No advertising tracker or paid ad-viewing program is active in this release. Membership does not promise income.
STRYKE is an independent community and is not affiliated with Valve. CS2 and Steam are third-party services. The Windows beta is unsigned; do not disable security software to run it.
